Women's ministry consulting

The women’s ministry of CrossPoint Alliance Church was born back in 2000 in my living room when I sat and prayed with about 5 other women who were believing God with me that our church was ready to launch something specifically designed to reach and disciple women.  It has changed, grown, and thrived through many transitions over the last almost 20 years, not the least of which was growling from a church of 150 in worship on a weekend to a church of over 1000 each weekend.

If your church is looking to begin, change or re-organize their women’s ministry, I’d love to share our story, give some basic organizational counsel and facilitate needed conversations amongst your women in leadership to help your women’s ministry thrive!  God has a unique ministry for your women, and I would love to be a part of unleashing that with you!

I served as Certified Christian Conciliator through Peacemaker Ministries (formerly the Institute for Christian Conciliation) from 1997 to 2016. Over the years I have sporadically taught in churches and groups unpacking their material based heavily on the book The Peacemaker by Ken Sande. Their way of systematically providing insight into conflict, confession, forgiveness and resolution have been instrumental in creating a culture of peace in my home, our church, and my relationships!

I have served as a board member of Alliance Peacemaking in the C&MA under the direction of Rick Stein from in the National Office. If you are a pastor or leader in an Alliance Church looking for help with a conflict or are interested in setting up a seminar or retreat based solely on biblical peacemaking (which is fantastic!), please contact Rick directly at We may be able to come together and team teach a biblical peacemaking seminar or training for your church or group!

If you are non-Alliance and looking for information specifically designed for women and peacemaking, I recommend that you visit for resources and conferences. Tara is a gifted speaker, conciliator, and author that I have the privilege of knowing personally and served alongside at Peacemaker Ministries in the late 1990’s.

If you are an individual in a conflict situation that requires some conflict coaching to help you work through your part in the disagreement, I may be able to chat with you. Please fill out the contact form. Please note that I do a very limited amount of conflict coaching, and I only take a few mediation cases annually. I refer most mediation cases to Peacemaker Ministries.
